We are in the process of transitioning to the target area. I am currently in Florida preparing to move my family to Fort Worth. June 12th is the truck load date. Hopefully, we will be on the road immediately following. The major accomplishments for the month of may are: 1) Establishing Sponsoring Church with Connell Baptist Church (TBA). 2) Establishing relationship with Tarrant Baptist Association. 3) Beginning volunteering in the community. I have all ready become a volunteer at Huguley hospital. I have also made contacts with the Crowley and Burleson Police Departments. When I return I hope to begin working with the Fort Worth PD and Fire Dep. Please Pray for our finances. 1) Pray for Kathy and I to find a good job. Until Mission Southwest has a significant income, I will need to work. 2) Fundraising. Our goal is to connect with atleast 5-10 churches this summer. 3) I am seriously looking for guideance on networks. I have never been involved in a Non-denom network, but I am interested in what the have to offer. I will be studying some different networks in the month of June. 4) Pray for us as we begin our launch team meetings in June. |
